Consulting on Energy & Water Efficiency

PROBLEM

The buyer of the 156 unit senior affordable housing property in Koreatown was implementing a rehabilitation of the common area and existing units. The new buyer was unfamiliar with the existing utility rebates available for them to tap into for energy and water efficiency upgrades.

SOLUTION

LAA principals along with the Los Angeles Better Buildings Challenge worked with the owner, the energy consultant and the utilities to identify all of the energy and water incentives that applied to the scope of work.

OUTCOME

Ownership was able to complete numerous energy and water efficiency upgrades on the property that resulted in significant utility savings and almost $80,000 in utility incentives.
