Growing a Family Business

Property Type: Office

A family company had been operating out of a small office condo in the Conejo Valley for many years. The company was experiencing tremendous growth and the principal of the company was looking to acquire an office building that could meet their needs for future generations.

LAA principals and team members were hired by the company to develop an acquisition strategy to identify the right office building based on their needs. LAA worked tirelessly to identify both on-market and off-market acquisition opportunities.

LAA helped the company acquire an off-market office building that just recently came out of foreclosure. LAA had tracked this property from bankruptcy through foreclosure and ultimately worked directly with the lender to solidify this purchase for the company at a price that was well-below the market comps in the area. LAA also consulted and guided the company on LEED certification.
